The top bunk has a safety rail to give you security. Some models feature the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleepovers or to create additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be either open or have doors (please see the product details for more details). Many midi cabins come with desks that can be moved between the two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means that they don't need to make use of floor space with bulky shelving or wardrobes. A few of the models have taken it one step further by adding cabinet style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard or footboard.
